Job Particulars:
- Day Shift – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Hours of Operation Monday to Friday, possibility of working Sundays
- Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate completion of documentation when required - blade sheet
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
- Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
- Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
- Plant floor person responsible for functions related to processing - washing the food products
- Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
