Our client is a growing company and one of the largest distributors of specialized mechanical equipment in Canada. They are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position - it leads to a great FULL-TIME career!
Pay: Up to $22.60/hr to start. Once hired directly by our client the role will pay a base salary of $50K + benefits.
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
Customer Support
- Respond to all customer enquiries.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and provide the customer with the correct advice
- Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of a technical nature to the appropriate resource.
Mechanical Technician Support
- Work with Service Manager in scheduling and dispatching Mechanical Technicians for jobs
- Tracks hours worked for each Mechanical Technician or contractor.
- Ensure timely close-out on all Work Orders and invoiced on a monthly basis.
Invoice Management
- Prepare Service Invoices for Work Orders completed and invoices for rental equipment
- Prepare Service Quotations for the Service Manager, upon request.
Equipment Management
- Place orders for parts and track delivery
- Inspect delivered parts are in good condition
- Maintain a list of rental equipment for Customer use.
- Prepare Rental Agreement form for Customer’s signature.
- Generate Packing Slip for the rental equipment to ensure that it is allocated in the computer system
- Track the duration of time for billing purposes
- Prepare invoices for rental equipment as required
- Ensure that the returned equipment has been inspected by the Mechanical Technician
File Management
- Maintain filing system of Service Work Orders
- Maintain filing system of all Quotes
- Invoice management
- Data entry and other record maintenance
