The role of a Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to support to the logistics team to meet tight shipping deadlines on all shipments being processed (inbound and outbound), creation of waybill, customs documents, process receiving and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA’s). The Shipping/Receiving Clerk reports to the Logistics Manager and is based in Toronto, ON.
The duties and responsibilities of a Shipping/Receiving Clerk will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Shipping
· Gather the daily sales order picklist/packing lists from the production team
· Transfer shipping date to UPS shipping system for small parcels
· Create, print and attach shipping labels for all small parcel shipments
· Print the proforma invoice for US LTL (less than truckload) shipments
· Fill out bill of lading and prepare customs documents for LTL shipment by destination
· Prepare end of day reports for appointed carriage companies
· Post sales order picks into the Point-of-Sale system
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
· Create, process and forward RMA form to customer and request shipping details
· Arrange for RMA to be shipped with approved carriage company
· Track movement of the RMA daily
· Receive, verify and approve RMA returns
· Return RMA’s to appropriate departments
· Return product back to supplier for credit
· Post and close off returns
· Run report for returned product
· Prepaid import documents for customs to return
· Close RMA
Receiving
· Gather, verify, and post receiving list
· Report any discrepancy against sales order
· Maintain all receiving documents
· All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
· Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
· Education: High School Diploma
· Computer Skills: MS Word and Excel

· Organization Skills: Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed

· Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must be free of allergies or respiratory problems that may be aggravated by wood, plastic, glues, resins or other manufacturing materials. Must be able to stand for shift and have complete use of both hands.
· Work Environment: Position resides at Toronto, Ontario Canada location. Position is a member of a warehouse environment which includes dust and debris, frequent loud noises, concrete floors and varying temperatures. Position is a member of a factory environment which includes sharing spaces with other production staff.
Preferred Requirements:
