Our client is a growing company and one of the largest distributors of specialized mechanical equipment in Canada. They are currently looking for an Mechanic Apprentice to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position - it leads to a great FULL-TIME career!
Pay: Up to $22/hr to start (can increase depending on qualifications and experience)
Benefits: Uniform, Extended Health Benefits and Vacation (Once hired permanently)
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
Will be under a lead mechanic to learn the below:
- Accurately and efficiently provide maintenance/repair recommendations
- Repair/rebuild mechanical equipment
- Complete Work Orders when provided and deliver a professional and courteous service to customers
- Document parts and work hours for proper invoicing
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Report defects on vehicle, equipment, and any other critical issues to Service Manager
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Industrial Mechanic course
- Clean driving record
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new things
