Our client is a leader in their industry. They are looking for a Machinist to join their team. This is a Contract position.
Pay: $21-$30/hr Based on experience and qualifications
Required Shift: Flexibility for day/night
Responsibilities:
- Program, maintain and operate Boring Mill, Lathe, CNC Boring Mill, Bridgeport Mill, tools, etc.
- Follow blueprints
- Layout and inspect set-up of tooling/equipment
- Tool selection
- Perform quality checks to verify work is within tolerances utilizing measuring tools
- Design, build or modify new and existing tooling
- Conduct work safely
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certified Machinist or equivalent
- 3+ years' machinist experience
- Experience with Boring Mill, Lathe, CNC Boring Mill, Radial Drill, Surface Grinder and Bridgeport Mill) and hand tools
- Able to perform CNC programming and set-up is a plus
- Solid math skills
- Must possess own tools
