Our client is a leader in their industry. They are looking for a Welder/Fitter to join their team. This is a Contract position.
Pay: $23-$30/hr Based on experience and qualifications
Required Shift: Flexibility for day/night
Responsibilities:
- Fitting, aligning and welding of various components
- Perform welding and cutting operations for broad range of repair and fabrication work
- Operate various machines, tools and related equipment (hand tools, drill press, torches, etc.) etc.
- Design, modify and fabricate specialized tools/equipment
- Conduct work safely
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in MIG, TIG and ARC welding
- CWB Certified or equivalent
- Experienced with mild, tool, aluminum and stainless steels
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and possess own tools
- Able to operate variety of machines, equipment and tools
