Our client is a leader in their industry. They are looking for a Pipefitter to join their team. This is a Contract position.
Pay: $26-$35/hr Based on experience and qualifications
Required Shift: Flexibility for day/night and some travel to client locations
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain pressure system of piping
- Use pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic components and water systems
- Prepare layouts; Fabricate and weld valve bank frames and other welding requirements
- Operate machine tools and equipment
- Conduct work safely
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in automotive assembly / tooling or assembly systems
- Hand tools experience (ex. hand benders, hydraulic hose crimpers, power threaders etc.)
- Machining skills such as milling, lathe, drill press, surface grinders
- Experience with Parker 801 hose
- Lubrication systems and air compressors knowledge
- Able to read/interpret blue prints and hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
- Knowledge of precision equipment (hydraulic motors, pumps, CNC boring mills, etc.)
- Must possess own tools
- Solid math and communication skills
- Experience with adhesive glue systems
