They are looking for experienced Breakdown Line - Machine Operators.
Shift time: 3pm to 11pm (Training to be held on the Day Shift)
Pay Rate: $25/hr
What You Would Be Expected To Do:
- To operate the Breakdown Line to draw wire to the proper specification requirements.
- To be responsible for operating the benches to draw wire to the scheduled finished size.
- To take up total responsibility for meeting all quality requirements relative to specifications for cleanliness, finished wire diameter, and cast and helix. The finished wire shall be free of waves and kinks.
- To identify each reel with the manufacturing codes, and date manufactured.
- To maintain the proper housekeeping of his entire work area.
What You Would Be Expected To Have:
- Must be proficient and understand the use of the following:
- Draw benches, roller stands
- Pay-off stands, coiler
- Butt welder
- Micrometer/Vernier
- Die Setups
- Draw Chain
- Wire pointer
- Any other equipment applicable to Breakdown wire drawing and Micromill rolling
