Our very large and reputable logistics company is looking for warehouse/forklift associates to become part of an excellent team!
Hourly Pay: $21.75 for night shift
Shift time 6pm to 2am
Major Responsibilities:
- Accurately stage and sort products for loading
- Loads and unloads trailers / open and closing of door docks
- Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system (RF scanner)
- Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
- Complete daily logs, maintain inventory records and use the computer to enter records
- Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
- Pack containers and parcels for mailing and re-pack damaged containers
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Looking for Candidates With:
- At least 2-3 years of warehousing or material-handling (using hand/power tools and hand truck) equipment experience required
- Experience with glass products preferred - container will be placed on a skid, the bulk orders are not always boxed
- RF scanner experience and hand eye coordination
- SAP experience prefered
Looking for candidates with at least 2-3 years experience operating a forklift counterbalance. The company is willing to do an in house certification if they do not hold a valid certification.
