Job Specifics

Our client is a leader in manufacturing foam and rubber. They are currently looking to onboard an experienced shipper and receiver to join their team! 

Shift timing: 8AM – 4:30PM
 Pay rate: $21 an hour

Candidate MUST be qualified with 2 years Manufacturing Experience
Candidate MUST be qualified with 2 years CounterBalance Forklift Experience



General duties: 
  • Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping by customer required ship dates; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.
  • Pull finished products from workstations and stock areas based on packing lists provided by the office, and verify for accuracy of quantities, part number, customer name, product number etc.
  • Receive and unload products and match them for accuracy against bill of ladings, packing lists or invoices.
  • Comfortable with sending and receiving emails.
  • Recording daily shipment logs at the end of each day
  • General housekeeping and spatial optimization of warehouse and shipping area (creating and utilizing existing space in the warehouse and plant floor by putting away products either by stacking or skidding them, cleaning shipping area, etc.)
 
Requirements to Have:
  • Must have a Forklift License (Counterbalance)
  • Experience operating the Counterbalance for 2 years
  • Forklift Duties will be for approximately 20% of the time
  • Ability to lift stand and bend for the entire shift 
  • 2 years experience working as a shipper receiver 
  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • 70-80% of the job will be utilizing pallet trucks
  • Picking orders -  picking orders and pulling them from workstation to workstation (using pallet trucks for skids/handle trucks for loose boxes)
  • Verifying quantities, part numbers, po numbers etc., writing up Bills of Ladings
  • Arranging freight based on the required method (courier, trucking, customer pickups etc.)
  • Resume to be detailed with all above specifications in order to present to the company with valid forklift license
