Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder with 3 - 5 years of welding/fitting experience. The ideal candidate will have a welding certificate or diploma. TIG welding expereince would be considered an asset. . This is a long term opportunity located in Oakville. The pay rate is up to $26 - 29 per hour, depending on expereince.
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Perform welding duties in accordance with work instructions inspection sheets, and technical drawings.
• Comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
• Ability to do GMAW welding
Education & Qualifications
• Welding Certificate or Diploma
• Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset
• 3-5 years of welding/fitting experience
• TIG welding experience is an asset
• Experience with forklifts, and jib/overhead cranes is an asset
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 5-23 kgs.
• Ability to work safely and independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Written and oral communication in English.
