Job description
Our client is a world-class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that
use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly, and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining
and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce
high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Perform welding duties in accordance with work instructions inspection sheets, and technical drawings.
• Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
• Able to do GMAW welding
Education & Qualifications
• Welding Certificate or Diploma
• Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset
• 3-5 years of welding/fitting experience
• TIG welding experience as an asset
• Experience with forklifts, and jib/overhead cranes is an asset
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
• Ability to work safely and independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Written and oral communication in English.
Salary and Benefits
• Salary: CAD 26 – CAD 29 Hourly, (Depending on Experience)
• Medical & Dental after 3 months
• Flexible with hours of work - able to work Day/Aft shifts and OT as required.
