Position Summary: Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, picking, and preparing installation products for client delivery. This role ensures accurate product verification, reports damages or errors, and maintains smooth warehouse operations. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate supervises Warehouse Workers and serves as a backup for the Warehouse Manager when needed.
Main Duties:

Receiving Shipments: Verify and inspect incoming product shipments, ensuring that they match purchase orders. Supervise unloading and coordinate with transportation teams.

Order Preparation: Oversee the preparation of orders for next-day delivery by verifying purchase orders, selecting appropriate products, and ensuring efficient loading.

Installer Equipment: Ensure installers have the necessary tools and equipment (e.g., dollies, and carts) for smooth client deliveries.

Reporting Defects: Accurately document and report any product defects or damages to the Warehouse Manager, including taking photos and preparing reports.

Administrative Support: Assist the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks such as printing paperwork, scanning packing slips, and sending documents to the relevant parties.

Delivery Verification: Confirm that clients receive their shipments on time and in good condition, resolving any delivery issues.

Safety and Security: Enforce safety protocols, secure products, and ensure proper use of equipment in the warehouse.
- Ensures timely deliveries and contributes to the efficiency of warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience using SAP or other ERP software.
- Forklift certification and safety knowledge.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proactive, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a team-oriented attitude.
- A moderate level of accountability for making decisions regarding receiving, shipping, placing products in the warehouse, and overseeing Warehouse Workers.
