Job Specifics

Position Title: Installer 
Reports to: Lead Installer and Manager Installation
Direct Reports: None

Position Summary:
The Installer is responsible for delivering and installing products at client sites, ensuring that installations meet high-quality standards. This role requires excellent customer service when interacting with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors, contributing to the successful completion of each installation project.

Main Duties:
  • Review installation paperwork and prepare trucks for deliveries, ensuring the correct products are loaded.
  • At the end of the day, unload trucks and tag products for stock, disposal, or client storage, adhering to warehouse recycling protocols.
  • Perform pre-installation checks, including tool preparation and project review with the Lead Installer.
  • Following the planned installation layout, unload, unpackage, and install furniture on-site. Handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain a clean job site.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to the Lead Installer and address potential issues with other trades on-site.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and morale, ensuring installation tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Review progress with the Lead Installer daily and report any delays or additional work required due to site conditions or unforeseen issues.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use moving equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Excellent time management, judgment, and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to variable schedules, including some evenings and weekends.

Training and Experience:
  • Minimum high school diploma or trade school.
  • Some experience in furniture installation is preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Requires walking, lifting, bending, and using hand/power tools in varied environments.
