Our Client a reputable logistics company is looking for warehouse/forklift Operators to become part of an excellent team.
Rate - $24.10/hr
Shift- Monday to Friday - 7:00 am-3:30 pm
Assessment - March 3rd and March 4th, 2025
Orientation - Monday, March 17th from 8:00am - 4:00pm
and Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 8:00am - 4:00pm
Major Responsibilities:
- Accurately stage and sort products for loading
- Loads and unloads trailers / open and closing of door docks
- Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system (RF scanner)
- Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
- Complete daily logs, maintain inventory records, and use the computer to enter records
- Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
- Pack containers and parcels for mailing and re-pack damaged containers
- Reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Looking for Candidates With:
- At least 4 years of forklift and (using hand/power tools and hand truck) equipment experience required
- Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibility, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required (where applicable by location)
- Flexible to work overtime preferred
- RF scanner experience
We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience operating a forklift counterbalance. The company is willing to do an in-house certification if they do not hold a valid certification.
