Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled welder with at least 5 years of welding and fitting experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in circular welding, the ability to perform clean welds in confined/tight spaces, and a proven track record working with a variety of materials.
Shift: 2:00 pm – 00:00 am (Afternoon)
Days: Monday - Friday
Rate: $27 - $29/ hr
Type: Temporary to Permanent Role
Job Responsibilities
- Proficient in GMAW welding techniques.
- Interpret and analyze work orders and technical blueprints.
- Carry out welding tasks following work instructions, inspection sheets, and technical drawings.
- Adhere to Company Health & Safety protocols and guidelines.
Education & Qualifications
- Certification or Diploma in Welding.
- CWB welding certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of welding/fitting experience, specifically with Metal Core Wire and Hard Wire.
- Experience with forklifts, jib/overhead cranes is an asset
- TIG welding experience is a bonus.
- Physically fit to perform the essential duties, including regularly lifting and carrying items ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
