Roles & Responsibilities
- Overseeing tasks during warehouse operations – e.g., Packing & Receiving, and shipping goods.
- Support and or supervise the team to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Lead and train other employees, ensuring they understand their tasks and procedures.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring safety protocols are followed and that the workplace is safe.
- Responsible for reporting incidents and damages to supervisors.
- Ensure accuracy in tasks like recording deliveries and shipments.
Qualifications
- LTL/Transportation experience 2 yrs minimum in the role or similar
- Valid Forklift License - Counterbalance forklift
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to multitask
- Able to run the shift in the absence of the supervisor
- The team currently consists of 5 people
- Ability to coordinate trailers from yard to door, door to yard
- Email experience
- Excel exposure
