The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Equipment Specialist to support the safe operation, maintenance, and compliance of our fleet. This role is ideal for someone early in their logistics or fleet career who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

What You’ll Do;
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company vehicles and equipment to ensure they remain in safe and operational condition in Toronto. 
  • Enforce a structured maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure all vehicles undergo regular inspections and meet DOT, FMCSA, CVOR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with repair shops, parts suppliers, and service providers for efficient maintenance and repairs. 
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, condition, and availability to optimize fleet performance. Maintain a PO log for all 3rd party vendors.
  • Follow protocols for handling equipment failures, breakdowns, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in evaluating and acquiring new vehicles and equipment based on operational needs and compliance standards.
  • Track warranties and service contracts to ensure timely repairs and cost-effective maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed records of all equipment maintenance, compliance reports, and expenditures. Provide leadership with data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Book appointments for truck repairs when needed.

What You Bring;
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in fleet, equipment maintenance, or compliance support
  • Logistics/transportation industry experience is an asset
  • College diploma or university degree preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
