Our client is seeking several individuals to staff the concession stands at the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg, MB.
Shift: Friday, June 12th, - Sunday, June 21st, 2026.
Shift Time: - Depending on the schedule provided to you.
Pay Rate: $16.50 an hour
Job Requirements:
- Making lemonade and mixing sugar water
- Cutting fruit and other food preparation
- Food safety, cleaning, and sanitation
- Serving corn and grilling food
- Cashier experience is preferred, but not required, for cash handling
- Other duties as assigned

Food Items to be handled: Fresh lemonade, Cold drinks, Water, Roasted corn, Chicken wings, Chicken tenders, French fries with various toppings, Turkey legs, Tacos in a bag

- Bottled water is supplied at no cost
- The employer covers admission costs for each fair. (Must return a fair pass at the end of the assignment)
- Food is available at the stands for staff at a 50% discount
- Hats, shirts, and aprons are provided by the employer (to be returned at the end of the fair).
Required:
- Closed-toe shoes are required (no open-toe shoes).
- Employees must report in a clean, wrinkle-free uniform.
- Shifts vary depending on weather and business levels.
- Tear Down: Staff needed for one or two days to tear down stands after each fair.
