Shift time: 9:30 AM- 6:00 PM (1/2 -hour unpaid lunch - 2 - 15-minute breaks)
Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $22/hr
Job duties and requirements:
- Shipping & Receiving Orders.
- Participates in Area safety, ergonomic, &housekeeping Participates in Continuous Improvement - Area 5S
- Interacts with customers &accepts daily deliveries
- Maintains electronic &manual shipping &receiving documents
- Delivers samples to the production laboratories several times per day
- Participates in the long-term storage of client samples &determination of final disposition Communicates directly our local leadership team
- Performs all routine shipping &receiving tasks as needed, including proper packaging &labeling &storage of supplies &samples.
- Requirements Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Ability to implement safe handling procedures for hazardous materials.
- Effective time management skills, organized &ability to exceed in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Forklift experience is required
- Hazmat training- In house training will be provided if/when required
