Responsibilities

Inventory Scanning & Tracking: Accurately scan incoming and outgoing gas meters into the warehouse management system using handheld barcode scanners.

Cleaning & Preparation: Thoroughly clean meter casings and components using designated safety equipment and solutions to prepare them for testing or redeployment.

Sorting & Staging: Organize meters by model, serial number, repair status, or destination; safely palletize and stage items for transport.

Quality Assurance: Inspect units for visible damage, leaks, or missing parts, reporting any anomalies to the warehouse supervisor.

Facility Maintenance: Keep workstations, scanning zones, and meter processing areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
Qualifications

Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with handheld RF scanners, digital inventory systems, or basic computer data entry.

Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift to 50 lbs consistently, stand/walk for the duration of a 7.5-hour shift, and perform repetitive manual tasks (bending, lifting, wiping).

Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
